Hello and Welcome
This is revision 6 of Aniwaya
We are about about to set our 10th year online!

If this is your first visit then I think you will find this site unlike any other you have seen so far.

There is much pride in the Navite American people this what we hope to be shown here. We are proud of who and what we are. Here you will find no whining about the white race or how special the red race is. We are all related we are all part of the Creators' creations. I too have had to learn some hard lessons about the teachings of the people. I too have been caught up in the culture theft things.  This has gone on for to long as it is and it will not be on this site!

Well, to quote a grandfather with more wisdom than myself,

"These (sacred) ceremonies do not belong to Indians alone, they can be done by all who have the right attitude...and who are honest and sincere about their beliefs in Wakan Tanka (Great Spirit) and follow the rules."
"Survival of the world depends on our sharing what we have, and working together. If we don't the whole world will die. First the planet, and next the people."
      Fools Crow

The true ways of the people are to teach those that seek not to put ones self above or below another. No matter the amount or lack of blood.

For those of you who have visited this site before you will find it has a new feel and look to it.

Ani Wa Ya is now under new ownership! The Site now has more stories, a new layout and graphics. There are now some essays and other things there. With this part of the rewrite Ani Wa Ya have just about tripled in size and content.

Easier to get around on and all the links have been checked and weeded out for content and broken links. Each section has been redone and new content has been added.

We hope you enjoy what has been to the site.!

A couple of thoughts to keep in mind when veiwing this site
The Following is fro a song by Phil Collins
Read it and you will get an idea of where and what this site is really about

The pretty wisdom does not come without learning and vision not wholly with our eyes. We think that we see Truly see you're around us But when we look Do we see with open minds?

Great Spirits of all who lived before Take our hands and lead us Fill our hearts and souls with all you know The key to understanding Is to see through others' eyes Find a way to help us See from all sides Truly see from all sides.

Teach our children to look deeper than the surface See the world through another's eyes For to be blind on yourself Is to look but not see it Knowing much is not enough to be wise.

To see the wonder In all we've been given In a world that's not always as it seems On the part that we choose Turn every corner Follow on, for another begins
