You have very nice layout and this web page is easy to look at. However, I do have one comment. Bring as close to a traditional as I can be, this day and age. I find the stories about the pipes and the scared ceremonies very offensive. I do not understand if you wish not to be associated with or as any sort of "newage site" you would allow such stories....      To start with I would like to thank you for the kind words. This is how the site improves and becomes one step closer to what I hope it will be.

     The reason for the Sacred pipe stories is this: I personally get really tired of people calling it  "The Peace Pipe" this is due to the lack of knowledge or understanding of the pipe. It is my hope that after reading the stories they understand that the pipe is more than just a "Peace Pipe" as seen in the movies and tv shows or for that matter even in cartoons.

     Maybe I should make a better introduction to these sections but I do feel they should be here for the reasons stated above. It is about education and to do this I have choosen the way of the Native peoples, using a story.

     There will never be any other stories of the sacred ways that are like the sun dance or some of the others, as this is way to sacred for this type of fourm.

     Both the Lakota stories about the pipe and White Buffalo calf Woman came Blacks Elks books, The sacred pipe and Black Elk speaks, these two books are used as text book in the local university Native American Studies class.
